The Rental

A 4-Bedroom Townhouse 45 Seconds from the Beach

Our home is Unit 18 at Shoreside Village — a private gated community right in the heart of Seaside Heights. Walk out the front gate and the boardwalk is directly across the street. Casino Pier is one block north.

It’s a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath townhouse spanning five levels, with a private rooftop terrace where you can watch the Wednesday night fireworks without leaving home. The elevator means nobody’s hauling strollers up stairs. The two-car garage means you park once and don’t think about it again all week.

Sleep in real beds with comfortable memory foam mattresses. Two families can take separate floors and have their own space while still spending every day together. That’s a harder combination to find than you’d think.

Can I rent a house In Seaside Heights NJ?

Yes, there are hundreds of Seaside Heights vacation rentals. There are options from houses to condos and townhouses, all for rent in Seaside Heights NJ. There are a few condos that are directly on the Boardwalk at the north end of town. There are also rentals that are directly across the Boardwalk like ours. The majority of rentals will require a short walk to the beach.
How much does it cost to rent a house in Seaside Heights?

The cost of a rental will vary depending on how big the house or condo is. 2-bedroom units will roughly rent for $1,500–$2,500/week during peak July weeks. 3-bedroom units, roughly $2,500–$3,500/week for beach-block or near-boardwalk locations. 4-bedroom units will run $3,500–$8,500/week depending on location

Though there are many new houses and condos for rent in Seaside Heights, few are located in a central location 45 seconds from the beach like ours is!

Can I find a vacation rental with pool in Seaside Heights?

Yes! In 2026 VRBO had about 189 rentals that had access to a pool, including ours! Most rentals with polls are condos and townhouses. Cooling off in a pool after a long day at the beach is a perfect way to end any day.

Is Seaside Heights safe?

Yes, Seaside Heights is safe. Early summer teen crowds can get rowdy (avoid Memorial Weekend), and occasionally out of towners might try to plan a flash mob here and there, but the town does a great job staying on top of these things and shutting them down before they are an issue. It is wise though, to be smart about leaving your items unattended on the beach, that is just common sense you would apply anywhere.

SSH is about 60 miles south of New York City and roughly 90 miles northeast of Philadelphia. From NYC: Garden State Parkway south to Exit 82, then Route 37 east over the Thomas A. Mathis Bridge. From Philly: NJ Turnpike to the Parkway, same exit
Where can I park in Seaside?

There is plenty of street and lot parking available in Seaside. Parking on the street is $3 per hour for Street End spaces, and $2 per hour throughout the rest of the town’s metered spaces. Street Ends are the paved areas between Ocean Terrace and the boardwalk. You can also find flat rate parking lots throughout town. These lots are run by private individuals and the rate varies from $5 to $30 depending on the time and day of the week.
